CamWise Access to Device Permissions

During the provision of its services, CamWise will access certain device permissions on your mobile phone. You have the option to turn off some or all of these permissions in your device's settings, thereby declining the app's collection of corresponding personal information.

Please Note:

Firstly, your agreement to the Privacy Policy signifies that you understand the functionalities offered by the app and consent to CamWise collecting the necessary personal information required for its operation. Once the corresponding permissions are enabled, you can always disable them through your device settings. Disabling any permission indicates that you have revoked your authorization. However, this will not affect the information collection and usage based on your previous authorizations. If you choose not to enable permissions, it will not hinder the normal use of other non-related business functions. However, disabling essential information such as app login, camera, or video device access will affect your ability to log in and use the app normally. Refusing this Privacy Policy will prevent you from using the basic functionalities provided by CamWise.

Secondly, given the wide geographical scope of CamWise's products and services, your usage should comply with the laws, regulations, and public order and good customs of your country, the country where the product is used, and the country where the software is used.

Thirdly, if you submit information to CamWise or if CamWise collects information through its services that contains personal information of others, you must ensure that you have legally obtained the authorization of the relevant individuals. In particular, if the aforementioned personal information involves minors, you need to obtain the consent of the corresponding minor's guardian in advance.

Fourthly, if you proactively discover or are informed that the app or account involves illegal, sensitive, or other relevant information mentioned in this agreement, which may violate laws and regulations or the rights of third parties, you should promptly inform CamWise.

Device Permissions	Business Functionality	Purpose of Access
Device Basic Information	Phone number, email, software installation list, status, MAC address, ANDROID ID, etc.	To enable CamWise to provide services on your device, CamWise may associate your device information or phone number with your account.
System Settings	Modify settings within the app	For searching devices, transmitting network configuration information, and achieving the purpose of device binding.
LOCAL_MAC_ADDRESS	This permission is used to obtain the local MAC address of the device	This parameter is used to obtain the unique ID of a user account.
Camera	Allow the app to take photos and videos	For users to capture images when changing their profile picture.
Storage (SD Card)	Allow the app to read photos, media content, and files on the storage card (SD card), and modify or delete them.	For users to change profile pictures, upload feedback images, store screenshots, screen recording data, logs, etc.
Location Information	Access location information (using network and GPS positioning to access approximate and precise location information, and use location information in the background)	Obtain the list of Wi-Fi networks at your location to enable smart hardware devices to connect to the Wi-Fi network of your choice
Read Call Status and Mobile Network Information	Allow the app to obtain location information based on GPS, base stations, Wi-Fi, and other network sources. This may increase power consumption.	Used for device networking

Network	Get Wi-Fi information, network information	We need this permission to obtain the user's Wi-Fi information and network information, to prompt the user when the network of the device screen is not good.
Storage	READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE,READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES,READ_MEDIA_VIDEO	We need to use these permissions to store and read images and videos.
Record Audio	Intercom function between user and device	We need this permission to enable the intercom function between users and devices.
Phone	Allow the app to make calls automatically	For users to quickly consult customer service.
Vibrate	Device Vibrate	This permission allows the app to control device vibration to provide user feedback.
USE_FINGERPRINT/USE_BIOMETRIC	Use your fingerprint to enter the account password	This permission is used to access the fingerprint sensor and manage user login information.

During user operations, some unknown errors or exceptions may occur. CamWise or third-party service providers will use storage permissions to access data for the purpose of analyzing error situations. If you do not authorize the use of storage permissions, CamWise may not be able to provide services to you normally.

Indirectly Collected Information by Third Parties

Indirectly Collected Information. This product, along with other CamWise products and services, may require CamWise to obtain and collect your third-party account information from third parties, such as nicknames, avatars, device unique identifiers, etc. If the personal information processing activities conducted by CamWise for business purposes exceed the scope of your authorization and consent granted to the third party, we will obtain your explicit consent before processing your personal information. We will also strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations, requiring third parties to ensure the legality of the information they provide.

Auto-start and Associated Start. To meet the needs of different usage scenarios and ensure timely receipt of information, auto-start and associated start are essential features. Disabling them may affect the necessary information push for the corresponding app. Auto-start or associated start must be performed with the user's consent and only in reasonable usage scenarios, with the purpose of serving end-users and minimizing the frequency of configuring app auto-start and associated start. Push SDKs assist in launching app background processes to receive messages. Additionally, CamWise monitors whether the frequency of app wakeup through auto-start and associated start is reasonable and meets the minimum necessary frequency for realizing product or service business functions.
